Longhorn Angus Beef
CT Ranch currently raises 4-6 steers per year for beef. Our pastures can only sustain that amount without overgrazing and we prefer to offer a quality product over quantity of a product.
We chose the Texas Longhorn because of their easy-going temperament, and their lean and tasty meat. We decided to start crossing them with Angus a few years ago. Angus cattle seem to be bred to convert grass to beef at better ratios than Longhorn alone, when fed a grass-only diet. The results have been amazing and I hope you are all as happy with the results as we have been! High quality meat at reasonable farm prices.
All beef steers from CT Ranch are vet checked yearly. They are not vaccinated, but are raised naturally for the highest quality meat we can provide. CT Ranch cattle are fed quality grass hay and graze on pasture every day. Garden leftovers and reject fruits & vegetables from the farm are also herd favorites. We provide them with free-choice mineral and salt blocks as well. CT Ranch cattle are never given any hormones, steroids or antibiotics. They are natural, grass-fed and grass-finished.

All our steers have approximate hanging weight of 450-500 lbs.
Price does include Kill Fee and Custom Cut & Wrap with our local butcher shop. Whole, half, or quarter possible.
We suggest putting down a deposit as soon as you are ready because we sell out of beef very quickly.
Berkshire/Red Wattle Pork
CT Ranch has decided to raise Berkshire and Red Wattle cross pigs! One of the biggest reasons for this is because they are heritage breeds and can be sustained on pasture and they forage well naturally. We will be providing our pigs with extra garden & kitchen scraps as well as leftover raw milk and whey from our pastured dairy cows, when it is available. They are also given an organic, corn-free grain to aid in growth and development. So far we have been able to provide our customers with a delicious, flavorful tasting pork!

We are currently taking deposits for fall 2017 pork.
All of our pigs have an approx. hanging weight of 200-220 lbs.
Price does include Kill Fee and Custom Cut & Wrap with our local butcher shop. Half or whole available.
