Beef

CT Ranch currently raises 10-12 steers per year for beef. Our pastures can only sustain that amount without overgrazing and we prefer to offer a quality product over quantity of a product.

We have chosen to raise Hereford & Brangus Cattle on our ranch. This results in a high quality, delicious beef. High quality meat at reasonable farm prices.

All beef steers from CT Ranch are raised naturally for the highest quality meat we can provide. CT Ranch cattle are fed quality grass hay, when needed, and graze on pasture every day. Garden leftovers and rejected fruits & vegetables from the farm are also herd favorites. We provide them with free-choice mineral and salt blocks as well. CT Ranch cattle are never given any hormones, steroids or antibiotics. They are natural, grass-fed and grass-finished.

All our steers have an approximate hanging weight of 600-800 lbs. Price does not include Kill Fee and Custom Cut & Wrap with our local butcher shop. Whole, half, or quarter possible

We are currently taking deposits for 2022 beef steers. If you are looking for a smaller amount of beef, individual cuts will likely be in stock in the fall.

Pork

CT Ranch has decided to raise Berkshire and Red Wattle cross pigs! One of the biggest reasons for this is because they are heritage breeds and can be sustained on pasture and they forage well naturally. We will be providing our pigs with extra garden & kitchen scraps, as well as, leftover raw cows milk and whey from our pastured A2 Brown Swiss dairy cows, when it is available. They are also given an organic, corn-free grain to aid in growth and development. So far we have been able to provide our customers with delicious, flavorful tasting pork year after year!

All of our pigs have an approx. hanging weight of 200-220 lbs. Price does not include Kill Fee and Custom Cut & Wrap with our local butcher shop. Half or whole available.

We are currently taking deposits for 2023 pigs. If you are looking for smaller quantities of pork, individual cuts will likely be in stock in the fall.
