We specialize in raising wholesome, pastured poultry, including broiler chickens, and heritage turkeys. All poultry need a source of high quality protein from legumes, grains, and insects. Pastured chickens will get up to 30% of their nutritional needs from foraging. Turkey, duck and geese are even more efficient grazers; up to 50% of their diet can be attained from pasture.
Part of doing things naturally means raising birds when Mother Nature intends, during the warmer months of the year. Our season for selling meats chickens is from May to October. Turkeys are available in November.
