Grilled Cheese Lovers, This One's for You!
Craving a classic favorite with a farm-fresh touch? This grilled cheese sandwich recipe, made with fresh sourdough, takes comfort food to a whole new level! Golden, crispy, and packed with melty goodness. Can it get better than that?

Directions

Ingredients:

2 slices of fresh sourdough bread

2 slices of cheddar cheese (or your favorite melty cheese)

1 tbsp butter (or more for spreading)

Optional: A sprinkle of garlic powder or herbs for extra flavor.

    Directions:

    1. Prep the bread:
      • Spread a thin layer of butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
      • If you’d like more flavor, sprinkle garlic powder or herbs on the buttered sides.
    2. Assemble the sandwich:
      • Place a slice of cheese on the unbuttered side of one slice of bread.
      • Top it with the second slice of bread (buttered side facing out).
    3. Cook:
      • Heat a skillet over medium heat.
      • Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the bread turns golden and the cheese begins to melt.
    4. Flip and finish:
      • Flip the sandwich and cook the other side until it’s crispy and the cheese is fully melted.
      • Press down lightly with a spatula for an extra crisp crust.
    5. Serve:
      • Slice the sandwich in half and enjoy it warm!
