100% grass-fed and finished means that the cattle have been raised on a diet of only grass and other forage, like hay, from weaning until harvest. They have not been given any grain or grain-based feed. This is in contrast to grain-finished cattle, which are typically fed a grain-based diet in the last few months before harvest to increase their size.

"Finished" refers to the period leading up to harvest when farmers focus on maximizing the animal's weight and marbling (the fat within the muscle tissue). In a grass-fed and finished system, this finishing period is also done on grass or forage, rather than on grain.

This method of raising cattle is often chosen for its potential benefits to the environment, animal welfare, and human health. Grass-fed and finished beef is typically leaner and may have higher levels of certain nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids compared to grain-finished beef.

However, in the extremely rare case that a life-or-death situation necessitates antibiotic use, the animal is immediately separated. This ensures that the rest of the herd remains antibiotic-free and that the treated animal does not enter our meat products.

Our pastures exist in a harmonious balance with nature. This equilibrium minimizes the occurrence of invasive species, effectively eliminating the need for pesticides or herbicides. Respectful Slaughter: When the time comes, we ensure that our animals are transported and slaughtered in the most humane way possible.

These cattle enjoy a life spent grazing lush pastures, where they can roam freely and thrive in a natural environment.
