If you’re new to colostrum, don’t overthink it. You don’t need a complicated routine or a 14-step protocol. Most folks simply add it to cold or room-temp foods, and smoothies being the easiest place to start.
- Prep Time:
- Servings: 1
Directions
Ingredients
- 1 cup cold raw milk
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup frozen berries
- 1-2 teaspoons colostrum
- 1 tablespoon nut butter or raw honey (optional)
- Handful of ice, if you like it thicker
Directions
- Add everything to a blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Pour, sip, and feel wildly accomplished for doing something healthy before 9am.
Optional Add-Ins
- Spinach or kale for extra greens
- Protein powder
- Cinnamon or vanilla
- Yogurt for extra creaminess
- Dates or maple syrup for more sweetness
Note: Keep it cool. Colostrum is best used in cold or gently warmed foods. High heat can reduce its natural benefits, so skip cooking or baking with it.
