CT Ranch has decided to raise Berkshire and Red Wattle cross pigs! One of the biggest reasons for this is because they are heritage breeds and can be sustained on pasture and they forage well naturally.
Our pigs are moved around daily onto new pasture. They are given extra garden veggies and fruits & kitchen scraps, as well as leftover raw cows milk and whey from our pastured A2 Brown Swiss dairy cows, whenever it is available. They are also given an organic, soy-free grain to aid in their growth and development.
So far, we have been able to provide our customers with delicious, healthy flavorful tasting pork year after year!
CT Ranch pigs are never given any hormones, steroids or antibiotics. They are natural, pasture-raised, soy-free and non-GMO.
