  • Servings: 4

Directions

Ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (or any preferred chicken cuts)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup CT Ranch BBQ Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Ghee (clarified butter)
  • Optional: Additional seasoning such as garlic powder, onion powder, or smoked paprika for extra flavor

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 375-400°F or 190-200°C).
  2. Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels. Season both sides of the chicken pieces generously with salt and pepper. Optionally, you can add additional seasoning according to your taste preferences.
  3. Grease the Grill Grates: Using a brush or silicone brush, spread a thin layer of Ghee (clarified butter) onto the grill grates to prevent the chicken from sticking.
  4. Grill the Chicken: Place the seasoned chicken pieces skin-side down on the preheated grill. Close the lid and let the chicken cook for about 5-6 minutes, or until the skin becomes golden brown and slightly crispy.
  5. Flip and Glaze: Once the skin side is nicely grilled, flip the chicken pieces over using tongs. Brush a generous amount of CT Ranch BBQ Sauce onto the cooked side of the chicken. Close the lid and let the chicken cook for another 5-6 minutes.
  6. Continue to Glaze: Repeat the process of flipping the chicken pieces and brushing them with CT Ranch BBQ Sauce every 5-6 minutes. Continue grilling until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) for thighs or drumsticks, or 160°F (70°C) for breasts. This usually takes about 20-25 minutes in total, depending on the size of the chicken pieces.
  7. Serve: Once the chicken is fully cooked and nicely glazed with CT Ranch BBQ Sauce, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Optionally, you can brush any remaining BBQ sauce over the chicken pieces for an extra burst of flavor before serving.
  8. Enjoy: Serve the CT Ranch BBQ Chicken hot off the grill alongside your favorite sides, such as coleslaw, baked beans, or grilled vegetables.
