CT Ranch has decided to raise Berkshire and Red Wattle cross pigs! One of the biggest reasons for this is because they are heritage breeds and can be sustained on pasture and they forage well naturally.
Our pigs are moved around daily onto new pasture. They are given extra garden veggies and fruits & kitchen scraps, as well as, leftover raw cows milk and whey from our pastured A2 Brown Swiss dairy cows, when it is available. They are also given an organic, soy-free grain to aid in growth and development.
So far we have been able to provide our customers with delicious, healthy flavorful tasting pork year after year!
CT Ranch pigs are never given any hormones, steroids or antibiotics. They are natural, pasture-raised, soy-free and Non-GMO.
All of our pigs have an approx. hanging weight of 200-250 lbs. You can expect an approximate final weight between 100-125lbs. depending on your cutting selections chosen for your whole pig. The butcher will be calling you immediately after the scheduled kill date to get your cutting instructions directly.
The price does not include Kill Fee and Custom Cut & Wrap with our local butcher shop. You will pay this directly to the butcher at pickup.

I understand that I am putting down a nonrefundable deposit on an animal. The balance will be due in full after the animal is killed and the total hanging weight is determined.
