The Ultimate BBQ Pulled Pork
Say hello to your new favorite BBQ pulled pork recipe! With just a handful of easy ingredients and your slow cooker doing the hard work, you’ll end up with tender, juicy pork that’s perfect for sandwiches, nachos, or just digging in straight from the bowl.

Directions

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 pounds pork shoulder
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (plus more for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pork:
    • Trim excess fat from the pork shoulder.
    • Rub the spice mixture all over the meat.
  2. Slow Cook:
    • Place the seasoned pork shoulder in the slow cooker.
    • Pour the BBQ sauce over the top.
  3. Cook Low and Slow:
    • Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-5 hours until the pork is tender and easily shreds.
  4. Shred and Serve:
    • Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks.
    • Mix in additional BBQ sauce to taste.
    • Serve on buns or with your favorite sides!
