Farmhouse Protein & Veggie Quiche

This farmhouse quiche is an easy, protein-packed meal loaded with eggs, ranch-raised beef or pork, and plenty of fresh vegetables. It bakes up hearty and satisfying, making it perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a simple weeknight dinner. Real ingredients, one pan, and enough fuel to keep you full long after the dishes are done.

Directions
Ingredients:
- 1 prepared pie crust (or make your own using our recipe here)
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb pork sausage
- 1 cup chopped broccoli
- 1 cup chopped bell peppers (any color)
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup raw milk or raw cream
- 1 cup mild cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook the beef, pork, and/or chicken until browned. Remove from heat and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté onion, garlic, broccoli, and bell peppers for 5–6 minutes until softened. Combine with the cooked proteins.
- Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan. Spread the protein and veggie mixture evenly in the crust.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, thyme, salt, and pepper. Pour over the protein and vegetables in the crust.
- Sprinkle cheese evenly on top.
- Bake 35–40 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is lightly golden. Let cool 5 minutes before slicing.
- Serve warm for breakfast, brunch, or dinner.
Tips & Variations:
- Swap vegetables based on season (spinach, zucchini, mushrooms all work great).
- Make mini quiches in muffin tins for easy grab-and-go portions.
- Use leftover roasted meats for a quicker prep.
