Greetings from CT Ranch! We're buzzing with excitement to announce our first-ever honey harvest this month. After working with other local honey producers while we nurtured our own hives, we are finally ready to share our CT Ranch all natural raw honey with you, woo-hoo!

We use flow hives! Cool…But, What is a Flow Hive?
A Flow Hive is a revolutionary beehive invention that allows beekeepers to harvest honey without disturbing the bees. It's designed with plastic honeycomb cells where bees deposit their honey. When the cells are full, we turn a lever, causing the cells to split vertically inside the hive. This creates channels for the honey to flow down to a sealed trough, allowing us to tap the honey directly into jars - pure, untouched, and incredibly fresh.
The Honey Harvesting Process
Harvesting honey from our Flow Hives is a simple and stress-free process, both for us and our bees. The honey flows out of the hive and into a jar, ready for storage. This process ensures the integrity and pristine quality of the honey. And because it's minimally handled, and never heated, our honey retains all its natural vitamins, enzymes, antioxidants, and other nutritional elements.

The Benefits of Raw Honey
Our bees feed on a variety of native wildflowers in our biodiverse pastures, making our honey a rich blend of unique flavors and health benefits. Raw honey is known for its antioxidant properties, can help in soothing coughs, aid in improving sleep, ease seasonal allergy symptoms, among many more awesome benefits!.
Free Range Bees
At CT Ranch, we believe in all-natural and sustainable practices. Our hives are 100% natural - no drugs, no chemicals, them bees are on their own! Our honey bees simply enjoy doing their bee thing in their own time and their own way. We like to call them our "free range bees" - they're as free-range as all the other animals on our farm!
